Abstract

This proposal encompasses a six month visit of the post doctoral student to FES/York University in Toronto, Canada. This period will allow an exchange of experiences related to the conceptual and methodological plans of the proposed area of research (that is, the interface between environmental education and education related to human-animal relations), with the objective of constructing a proposal for a Postgraduate Certificate, as well as extension courses, on this theme. As presented in the main research project, these courses will help to bring the two areas together and amplify the diffusion of the themes in question. The visit will also further the construction of a greater basis for collaboration between the research groups at both universities. This proposal includes the realization of short term visits (approximately one week) to two other universitis in North America that have large experience in the research area of this project: Lakehead University in Canada; and to the Humane Society University in USA.
