Abstract

In this project we intend to investigate the tribological properties of graphene, boron nitride and silicene. Using molecular dynamics techniques coupled to reactive force fields (ReaxFF) we try to mimic the experimental conditions of atomic force microscopy experiments. We intend to investigate how these properties depend on the materials, number of layers, and morphological and dynamics AFT tip. (AU)
