Abstract

Political discourse gone through transformations over the years and, nowadays, has been more circulation by television transmission on the campaign period. The importance of this transmission medium in Brazil, as a support material of political discourse is such that coalitions establish the beginning of the transmissions time for political propaganda Free (HGPE) as the official start of pre-election dispute. In doctoral research project - which is linked to this project - titled The order of the view: the image in political discourse television, developed at UFSCar under the orientation of Professor. Dr. Vanice Maria Oliveira Sargentini proposed to study the effects of sense of political discourse television from 1989 to 2010, a period covering six presidential campaigns, within programs of candidates with the greater visibility of such campaigns - Lula (1989-2006), Dilma (2010), Fernando (1989), Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1994/1998), Alckmin (2006) and Serra (2002/2010). In this project, I come to request the granting of an internship abroad of 06 months at the Université de Toulouse 2, at Toulouse, France, under the co-op orientation of Prof. Marlène Coulomb-Gully, whose research on political communication in French television will help me in developing my doctoral research. Participation in research group meetings and seminars in this area of studies and the possibility of co-op orientation by Prof. Marlène, besides the contact with other teachers and researchers, members of the laboratory studies coordinated by this teacher, will help me to deepen my analysis work on the subject matter presented.
