Abstract

The propose of stage extension is to obtain knowledge in the area of research that involves the energy performance of buildings. The first phase, funded by CAPES, the student raised the characteristics of four buildings, passive applied techniques and technologies applied for thermal comfort and energy efficiency. To continue the training and additional data collected, the student will model one of the buildings that was monitored by a team of KIT in a software and will simulate its energy performance. The data obtained will serve to validate the use of the tool and the subsequent application in Brazil. Besides promoting the transfer of technical knowledge and promote partnerships between universities of the two nations, the BEPE stage will continue the activities of the student. (AU)
