Abstract

Endometritis represents a major problem to the clinician once this disease harms the herd's fertility. Even though the losses caused by this disease are well known there is still great controversy on treatment options. This study has as an objective to evaluate a profilatic treatment evolving a bacteriophage cocktail. 280 bovine are going to be randomly divided in experimental groups, treatment and control, for this purpose. Results are going to be submitted to statiscal analyses. (AU)
