Abstract

The project intends to study the aesthetic implications concerning a specific type of contemporary film production in Brazil, by analyzing the creative process of three recent fictional films: Desassossego, Viajo porque preciso, volto porque te amo, and Ex-Isto. Its main aim is to identify their artistic strategies, through a systematization of the concept of 'creation' as applied to these three films, focusing on the ways the actor, the editor and the filmmakers can collaborate as co-authors within their production.
