Abstract

The proposal to hold a research internship in Mexico began to be outlined within the discipline The state and market in housing production, conducted by Prof. Dr. Rosana Denaldi at the Postgraduate Course in Planning and Land Management, Federal University of ABC, which fulfilled between September and December 2011.During the debates in class, discuss the housing programs undertaken in Brazil and among them the program Minha Casa Minha Vida. These discussions and debates we got the information (although inaccurate) that the program Minha Casa Minha Vida was inspired by Mexican experience. At that moment we understand that understood the "inspiration and similarities" of the Mexican experience with this program, we would understand also the program itself, and questions still expensive for us, for example, his formulation apart of the Programa Nacional de Habitação has long been discussed in Brazil. That this project is: get the inspirations of Mexico Program My Home My Life in understanding the program itself and aspects related to it. (AU)
