Abstract

In this research subproject, to be developed at the Universidad Castilla La Mancha - UCLM, Spain, proposes to extend the development of the doctoral research project funded by FAPESP, through a methodology to consider risk analysis. This methodology should be considered in addition to uncertainty in demand, uncertainty in the available capacity of reactive sources and consider restrictions that represent the limit of investment in new sources of reactive compensation. These considerations was applied to both centralized and multi-area stochastic model. The stochastic problem must be formulated as a problem equivalent deterministic nonlinear mixed integer programming. (AU)
