Abstract

This is a research that I have been developing since 2002, with funding from FAPESP, on the German critic and sociologist, Siegfried Kracauer, and that is in its final phase with more 250pgs already edited. In abroad, I analyze their interpretation of the mechanisms of manipulation of the masses and the role of propaganda in Nazi-Fascism. The study conducted in 1936-1938, "The totalitarian propaganda", was only published in July this year, I intend to also draw a parallel between that of Kracauer study with Ernst Bloch articles written about advertising in the same period (AU)
