Abstract

The university is considered an indispensable bridge to obtain social and economic prestige in which exchanges of information, experience and knowledge happen, establishing permanent exchange between scientists, technicians, teachers and students. However, the university has become increasingly administrative institution ruled by notions of productivity, structured strategies for effectiveness organizational, mischaracterizing from its social and self-evaluative. In the study of craft students the university realized that the students is associated with the functions of learning, knowing and producing limited by the curriculum demands imposed. Before inferences, the objective is to analyze the activity student in the university space, focusing on the discussion of the impacts of academic productivity in students' education, in which he discusses the social, ethical and university policy, directed to the interpersonal spaces of socialization, training and performance of students in daily academic. The research will be conducted in UFSCar - Campus São Carlos, with its students as subjects, using a questionnaire applied to a sample of 120 students from the three Science Centers and conducting focus groups with 20% of the initial sample. The qualitative approach and analysis wil be done through the process of semantic categorization based on theoretical contributions from critical perspectives. It is hoped that the research results will be able to characterize the student activity regarding the impacts of academic productivity in the training of students mapped out at this juncture of change of flexible capitalism in Higher Education.
