Abstract

In this project is made a briefly introduction to discovery and evolution of the superconductor materials and their main properties. Besides is made an introduction about the thermodynamic principles that are related with the synthesis of new materials. This introduction allows to study some materials properties, such as formation enthalpy, heat of reaction, specific heat, etc., and during the synthesis of materials these properties can be improved their quality and purity. Although, we propose a methodology to study the synthesis and characterization of superconductor materials of the BSCCO system that is the most important system due their applicability in technological areas, in this case it will be given more importance to thermochemistry area because it was not explored sufficiently yet.
