Use of fish manures on Marandugrass fertilization: plant evaluation and greenhouse gases emission

Abstract

The use of agricultural waste, whose undue disposal may cause negative impacts on the environment, is an important alternative for production systems. In this sense, this project aims to assess the effects of fish compounds using in soil chemical properties, in greenhouse gases emissions, in dry matter, in morphological components and in the bromatological composition of Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu. It will be used Oxisol sample, collected in the 0 to 20 cm. The treatments will result from the combination, in a factorial, of five doses of fish waste compounds, in the presence and absence of nitrogen, and two controls, a non fertilized one and other one with mineral fertilizer. The design will be completely randomized, with four replications. The compound doses will be equivalent to 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 times the application rate, calculated based on the rate of N mineralization of the compounds, which is determined in assay incubation, and in the N recommended dose for the culture. Two cycles of the grass growth will be evaluated, and the cut of the plants, at the end of each period, will be done to 10.0 cm from soil and the collected samples will be separated into stems and leaf blades and they will be droughts. In dry matter will be determined CP, ash, NDF, ADF, cellulose and lignin. The soil chemical properties will be evaluated in samples collected after soil incubation with different doses of the compounds for 30 days. Soil emissions of CH4 and N2O will be made by the method of static closed chamber and determinations will be made in the gas chromatograph. Data will be submitted to variance analysis (F test) and Tukey's test, and if there is effect for compound doses, it will be studied by means of polynomial regression analyzes.
