Abstract

The research proposes to answer about what the activities in a Day Centre and what is the relationship are established with the profile of users in this modality. This fact becomes relevant due to the increasingly high number of people aged 60 or over, depending on your needs, demands, and health care, enabling searching for specific services. This is exploratory, descriptive, using the method of quantitative and qualitative research. For data collection instruments will be used for screening of health conditions of the elderly, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews. Tend to participate in the study aged about sixty-eight employees, including the coordinator of the institution. To obtain the results will be used for statistical and content of open questions. As expected results, aim to identify factors that might answer the question, since the improvement of this type of organizational model may be useful for expanding the support network and family support for the elderly Brazilians.(AU)
