Abstract

For more than 20 years began the movement called decasségui, in which the descendants of Japanese immigrants who arrived in Brazil in the early twentieth century held the opposite direction heading to Japan to work in Japanese factories. In this process many individuals are in the transition between Brazil and Japan struggling to fix their housing, whether in Brazil or Japan. Moreover, as it is a migratory process, there are some difficulties lived by this population, with regard to adaptation as culture, language, food, and mainly with respect to planning for life, including their children. Therefore, this process relates to the process of psychic suffering of these subjects during these years in Japan. Thus, this research aims to understand the formation of projects of life of decasséguis and its importance for decision of decasséguis life, residents of a municipality within the state of São Paulo. This is a qualitative research using semi-structured interviews that will be recorded and later transcribed. Decasséguis will be interviewed, in the age range between 20 and 30 years, and who returned to Brazil for at least two years. Through interviews we intend to find information on the prospects of projects of life, their impact on the definition of fixation or not to Brazil and the planning and actions for the viability of such projects. The data will be analyzed according to analysis of content, taking into account the regularities and peculiarities of speech. The discussion and interpretation of data will be conducted according to psychoanalytic theory.(AU)
