Abstract

The goal of this project is to contribute to the taxonomic knowledge Plecoptera. This project will continue the line of research of the candidate. The activities of the candidate will expand the scientific collection of the Laboratory of Aquatic Biology, UNESP de Assis and analyze specimens of Plecoptera mainly from Amazon region with the following objectives: 1) to describe new species of Plecoptera from Amazon region: 2) to review and propose phylogeny to Macrogynoplax (Plecoptera: Perlidae).
