Abstract

The identification and correction of potential faults in buildings certainly increase the level of satisfaction of the population in general for their contribution to the aesthetics of the city and contribute to increasing the life of the product and its commercial value. Thus, this paper aims to visually detect the pathological manifestations and present the most frequent structural elements, walls, flooring, and a sample of three public schools (case study) of Presidente Prudente, identifying aspects related to materials, type of injury, incidence, possible causes, etc. Through on-site observation, along with the photographic records, analyze three public schools, and the data will be collected with the aid of a spreadsheet that will serve to characterize the lesions found in buildings of schools. The number of occurrences is an indication that there is still much to be done in terms of quality and durability, combined with the low cost, the construction of public schools.(AU)
