Abstract

The internship abroad aims to research the geomagnetic variations from external source during disturbed periods observed in the Brazilian region, and also it compared to the behaviors from other regions of the terrestrial globe. For this reason, new methodologies will be used to analyze these signals which will be mainly wavelet techniques. The wavelet analysis applied to geomagnetic data processing will improve the knowledge of space electrodynamic phenomena involved during a geomagnetic storm. (AU)
