Abstract

The Buildings Energy Efficiency is primordial for sustainable development, leading engineers and architects to rethink project technics and uses of technology, evaluating possibilities of interaction of actives and passives methods which are able to reduce energy consumption and meet the needs of users, as, for example, thermal comfort. In recent years, several countries are applying or producing laws, incentives or methods of classification that promote the buildings construction of low environmental impact and, consequently, reduced energy consumption. Thereby, an analysis concerning energy behavior through the use of computational tools will be done, comparing the building efficiency between green roofing and conventional ceramic tiles cover.(AU)
