Abstract

This project has as objective the synthesis, characterization and application of a composite of TiO2 and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) for the degradation of bisphenol A (BPA) in environmental samples by the method of photoelectrocatalysis, and the development of electrochemical sensors based on CNTs for monitoring the decay of the concentration of BPA and the reaction intermediates of degradation as hydroquinone (HQ) and total phenols.
