Abstract

This research aims to understand the constitution of a municipal management of the population living in streets undertaken by municipal agents of Social Assistance and Municipal Guard in São Carlos. To achieve this objective, the project includes interviews with different agents of Municipal Guard, employees of Social Assistance and other managers of public security policy of the municipality. The research also will make use of documental analysis, as well as observations and interviews with people living in street in São Carlos.
