Abstract

The main objective of this project is based on the study about the perception of the professors of the Medical Course about the technological transition of the written medical chart to its electronic equivalent. The project itself is composed of two phases: the first consists of reading reviews about the electronic medical chart in the context of medical graduation teaching and the second by interview of medical professors that teach medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto. The selection of the reviews will be based on the following criteria: availability of the text in electronic media, inclusion of discussion about the patient chart in at least one medical graduation course and having been published in the last 5 years. These interviews will be semi structured, so that the interviewee will have the chance to discuss about the theme and the researcher will be able to conduct the interview in order to accomplish the objectives. The time of each interview is about an hour and will be recorded. At the end of the research, the sound files will be deleted. The local of the interview will be due to the interviewee preference, being of two possibilities: the interviewee office or the office of the researcher in charge. It is expected that the results of the study will serve as improvement of the subjects related to the medical chart being taught in the Medical Course. (AU)
