Abstract

The main objective of the work is to develop technologies for fabrication of novel hybrid nanostructures based on carbon nanomaterials (nanotubes or multi-layer graphene) and quantum dots like PbS for photonics applications, in photoresistor and phototransistor configurations. Various technologies will be developed for preparation of transparent flexible films based on carbon nanotubes. Graphene will be deposited using di-electrophoresis method. The fabrication stages will be followed by the study of photosensitivity of the devices (in visible and near infra-red regions) and characteristic times of system response, of fundamental interest.
