Abstract

Specific and non-specific hearing protectors for musicians. Purpose: compare and evaluate the effectiveness of attenuation in decibels of specific and non-specific hearing protectors for musicians making use of the equipment Microphone In Real Ear Dosimeter System (MIRE) and verify the performance of the protectors applying a questionnaire about the satisfaction regarding the use, Methodology: Will be tested by the MIRE, one hearing protector specific for musicians and one hearing protector non-specific for musicians for ten minutes each in the fifteen professional musicians during the rehearsal and then the questionnaire "satisfaction from the use of hearing protectors" will be applied.
