Abstract

No gravitational forces govern the movement of several planetary rings. The solar radiation and the electromagnetic's forces are responsible for determining a grain's time of life and thus thin rings. In this paper, we analyze the effect of the electromagnetic force's effects in the orbital elements of dust located in Saturn's G ring. The Gauss equations will be numerically integrated and orbital elements of the grain will be analyzed for different parameters such as grain size. (AU)
