Abstract

The work uses 30 copies of Columba livia, females, young and adult, to study the topography and arterial vascularization of the oviduct. All animals used are euthanized, and then subjected to pleuroperitoneal cavity opening in order to observe the topographic viscera and the arrangement of the genitals. The injection of latex substance stained with specific pigment was performed through the femoral artery. The pleuroperitoneal cavity, your muscles and organs are then visualized and photographed, and will begin dissection to observe the origin of arteries to the female genitals. The knowledge of the morphology of the oviduct and its arterial vascularization of Columba livia provide data on reproductive aspects of the species, helping in the development of effective methods of biological control.
