Abstract

Among the various techniques used in the propagation of forest species by budding grafting is the most used for rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). In this system of production of seedlings, rootstocks are produced directly in the ground or in polyethylene bags. However, some changes are being proposed to change the system of production of seedlings, especially with regard to the cultivation of rootstocks. Thus, it becomes essential to carry out research to adapt and enable propagation techniques to the legal parameters of production. The project aims to produce rubber seedlings in stands suspended for that, will be conducted two experiments (I and II). Experiment I, objective deployment and calibration of nutritional doses for installation minigarden clonal rubber (clone RRIM 600) and the other evaluating three different methods of grafting on rootstocks under different ages. Both will adopt the completely randomized design. Experiment I, will consist of 5 treatments and 4 replications, totaling 20 plants per treatment and 4 plants per pot. The treatments consisted of different doses of macro and micronutrients. Experiment II, will consist por10 treatments and 5 replications in a factorial 3x4-2, totaling 10 plants per plot. The treatments consist of grafting by budding, grafting plain English and cleft grafting and age of rootstock (60, 90, 120 and 180 days after sowing) to be grafted. Will be evaluated in terms of productivity minigarden clonal biometric information of rootstocks, graft survival and production of fresh and dry. The data will be analyzed for normality (Shapiro-Wilk test) and homoscedasticity (Box-Cox). Will be proceeded the F-test and Tukey (5%) for comparing the biometric data collected in the rootstocks.
