Abstract To understand the result of an architecture office`s work is necessary to look for the values that are recurrently present in the projects. The architects` basis guides the process and when the subject is Brazilian architecture, one might think that it has its foundation in the colonial and vernacular experience of its inhabitants and also in the national and international modern precursors. Pondering these matters, we can see the Brasil Arquitetura office`s exquisite work. Thus, it is proposed in this research, an analysis of Brasil Arquitetura`s work and those who are considered to be an important part laying the office`s foundations: Lina Bo Bardi and Lucio Costa. To do so shall be resorted to reading texts on architects and their works, written or constructed, and thereby forming a basis for a comparative analysis between their projects. Seeking, above all, to establish a dialogue between Brasil Arquitetura, in the foreground, with Lina Bo Bardi and Lucio Costa, comprising the question of brazil in the formation of these three and the role these conversations play in a contemporary office.
