Abstract

The research theme of this project is to analyze the personal pronouns in indigenous languages of Brazil and South America. The main goal of the work is to make a typological-comparative analyse of personal pronouns and person markers in a set of amerindian languages of different families. For this study it will be formed a corpus with lists of personal pronouns, both independent pronouns as also clitics and bound pronouns, and then will be done a typological-comparative study of various aspects related to personal pronouns and person markers in the amerindian languages of South America.
