Abstract

The project proposes a study  on the movements  of  the  Orisha "Iansã" in Umbanda rituals using the DRP method (Researcher-Dancer-Performer).Based upon this method, the field research will be carried outin terraces of Umbandaon the territorial  axis  São Paulo - Campinas. During these field research will be investigated Iansã movements and their contexts through the Physical Structure and Anatomy Symbolic of the DRP method. In additionto being registered in day-by-dayjournals of the field experiences, such movements and senses will be also put to test in practice in oriented corporal laboratories,in which will be sought both a physical understanding of what has been investigated as an investigation  of the impact of the field research in the body of the researcher. From the analysis of such procedures,the intentis to synthesize the results both in a physical level as in a written work.
