Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the strain around the implants with plateau design. This implant with (4 mm of diameter versus 6mm of length - Bicon- Boston, USA) will insert in each polyurethane block (n=10), following the manufacturing instruction. With a specific hammer, the straight abutment will be inserted onto the implant. Three strain gauges will be bonded vertically on the surface of the implant. The Loading Machine (DAC) will apply static loading of 39kg for 10 seconds on the occlusal surface of the abutment. The 45 recordings of the five implants, of three strain gauges of three repeated measurings, will be analyzed with ANOVA and Tukey(5%). (AU)
