Abstract

The aim of this project is to observe and analyses the affective dimension in the relationship between the subject and his reading experiences, focusing on the process of mediation offered by the subject's family. It is intended to analyze the positive affective characters of the mediation practices observed in home environment. Participants will be first-years students of UNICAMP graduation, of different fields of knowledge, characterized by independent readers. It is adopted a concept of independent reader as the subject who reads on his own initiative, which suggests that reading represents a motivating practice. The research is based on Psychology theories, especially VYGOTSKY (1998, 2005) and WALLON (1968, 1979). The methodology is based on the Recurrent Interviews and the data will be grouped in thematic areas Posteriorly, these areas will be analyzed and discussed based on the theoretical reference assumed.
