Abstract

The growth of floriculture in Brazil has created a demand for new products in order to cater to consumers interested in news within this agribusiness. The cultivation of new potted ornamental species is a promising option to insert new products in floriculture. Thus, the objective of this project is to evaluate the development of plants propagated in vitro Heliconia Ortotricha " Total Eclipse " , under the action of different light sources in the greenhouse . Seedlings resulting from different treatments LED in vitro , will be kept in a greenhouse environment protected with different meshes for the type of transmitted light , arranged in sequence in red ( M1 ) , black ( M2 ) and blue ( M3 ) , rate of shading 50 % . To a control treatment under fluorescent light and one with conventional propagation by rhizome Results height, leaf area and climate data will be obtained in percentages and averages of the variables measured in the experiments are subjected to analysis of variance by F test and when significant will be compared by Tukey test at 5 % probability.
