Abstract This project intends to realize a theoretical and practical research with the subject of the Klauss Vianna Technique, as applied to the teaching-learning of dance for teenagers - dance here being understood as the sensitive and individual movement. This interest arises from the perception of the predominance of traditional ways of teaching dance for this age group, thus culminating in the interest to investigate pedagogical systems that diversify the current paths. Since 2001, I have been experiencing the Klauss Vianna Technique both as a student and, more recently, as a teacher. In the classes that I minister for teenagers, I realize the necessity of specific approaches for this age. With the purpose to deepen these specificities, this research foresees weekly classes for a young group aging from 12 to 16. There will also be studied a specific bibliography, with the purpose of raising strategies and thoughts for dance teaching. The proposed practice will develop into two intertwined parts; the first, emphasizing didactics studies; and the second, the creative process with the students. | |
