Abstract

Although we live in a world increasingly globalized and interconnected, it is hasty to consider that the mainstream media have lost its relevance when dialing the public agenda, particularly regarding to international affairs. Therefore, from this research project we will try to answer the following questions: Is the printed mass media the one that sets the agenda about international affairs? Newspapers with a strong political position have the same influence on all people or it varies according to the reader's ideological affinity? We will use as a methodological approach a survey experiment, which will be applied face to face in the United States, Brazil and Argentina.
