Abstract

The present work aims to discuss the role of the State in relation to the use and control of pesticides in confront with the principle of sustainability in the agricultural sphere. Through the analysis of literature, collection and selection of data and interviews, we intend to examine the legislation concerning pesticides and, through this, tho analyze the relationship between the State, the rural credit, the mode of agrarian production and pesticies as an unsustainable model.
