Abstract

This study evaluates the risk factors for respiratory complications during the pre and post-operative in children 2-12 years old and diagnosis of adenotonsillar hypertrophy. It is descriptive randomized, prospective and observational character study of children undergoing adenotonsillectomy surgery attending the School of Medicine of Botucatu (FMB) - Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Hospital das Clínicas, Universidade Estadual Paulista - HC / UNESP. Questionnaire will be used, ENT examination and cardiorespiratory monitoring for data collection and subsequent statistical analysis. (AU)
