Abstract This research aims to analyze the process of initial teacher training in Youth and Adult Education ( EJA ) , developed in the state universities of São Paulo , USP , UNICAMP and UNESP , since these institutions the most renowned in the field of training and research not only the state and the country . Our object of study are the licensees of such pedagogy in universities and , more specifically , those who work on projects and / or are studying disciplines of adult and youth education, also newly qualified professional educators who are working in the school system in the form EJA searched. Considering the importance of this issue for Brazilian education , we intend , in this work , pointing out aspects that provoke discussions on the subject , we believe that the perception of the relevance of this type of education should be developed in the initial training so that teachers are formed with a positioning in its role of forming active adults in society through their citizenship ensured by the right and access to education . We intend to use in our methodology grounded qualitative approach Sandin Esteban (2010 ) and , within this perspective, making use of the method of document analysis from the writings of Cellard (2008 ) and by conducting semi - structured interviews described by Triviños (2008 ) . | |
