Abstract

Smart Card is a card that has, in short, the basic characteristics of an embedded computer system. This card presents EEPROM (Electrically - Erasable Programmable Read - Only Memory stores the applets), ROM (Read - Only Memory, stores JCVM, JCRE, API, libraries), and RAM (Random Access Memory, stores attributes at runtime), and processor. This can be used for various functions, such as storing personal data (documents, passwords, etc), information processing and granting access to some service. The focus of the project is to create an application (Applet) with the ability to make financial transactions without the use of an internet connection. This can optimize the process of digital payment and expand the universe of payment that does not depend on internet applications. In this sense, new challenges are created, such as the identification of the cardholder, establishing secure communication section for transactions, entering credit, payment and withdraw.
