Abstract

This project proposes a study of the compositional aspects in the works that are part of the Practical Guide, Album for piano nº 1 by Heitor Villa-Lobos, aiming their pedagogical aspects, and suggesting a possibility for performance. By doing an analysis of these works, a data survey will be developed and it will be used as a guide so that we can better understand the educational purposes of the material aiming its use in teaching piano. As a result of the research, we intend to present a proposal for performance of the works that make up the album and, by doing that, improve its disclosure. (AU)
