Abstract

This Project aims to study the Mesh-Current Method (MCM) to solve a general electrical circuit composed of m loops linearly independent. It is emphasized that the electrical circuit operates in steady state. The MCM is formulated such as the electrical circuit is described by m linear and independent equations. These equations are written in matrix form, which are the pattern form of the loop analysis.Besides studying the MCM, the computational implementation is going to use the MATLAB software. Choosing this applicative is due to be easy to program and the interfaces with the user and other software as well as to the proposal under study. The resulting computational implementation can be further used to simulations during the course of Electrical Circuits, which is one of the requisites of the Electrical Engineering career. This under graduation Project is predicted to one year.
