Abstract

The research development in printed organic electronics area and technological advancements of lightweight, thin and flexible electronic devices require energy storage elements with the same characteristics. In this context, the paper appears as an interesting substrate because is lightweight, flexible, low cost and, in addition, its porosity and surface roughness are important for devices such as supercapacitors and batteries. PANI and PEDOT:PSS polymers have been widely used in printed organic electronics as electrodes due to its conductive characteristics and, in the case of PANI, also due to ease of synthesis. The goals of this project are to study the PANI and PEDOT:PSS printed on paper using a thermal inkjet printer aiming the development of devices for energy storage that can be integrated with other printed devices.
