Abstract

The agouti is an important species of Brazilian fauna and has great potential livestock and experimental. By the lack of studies on their morphology, the aim of this study is to describe the origin and distribution of the arteries of your forelimb. It will use five adult Cuniculus paca, males and females, weighing five and 10kg in captivity. Latex will be injected, flushed and diluted in the caudal aorta until the entire arterial system will be completed. After fixation in paraformoldehyde 10% for 72 hours, will be proceeded to dissect for visualization and identification of the vessel in question.
