Abstract Teenage fatherhood is subject rarely approached socially and remains virtually unexplored in the scientific field, with few studies to cover the topic. Considering this, the present study aims to analyze the perspective of teenage parents on the meaning they attribute to parenthood, regarding the challenges, consequences and implications it has brought to their lives, thus contributing to a better comprehension of teenage fatherhood. Furthermore, the intent is to help deconstruct the idea of assigning the pregnancy culpability only to the female teenager. To achieve it, a qualitative research study will be conducted, in which it will employ the method of life history, through semi-structured interviews with young men who have had the experience of being parents before 20 years of age. In short, the relevance of this research resides in the fact that more studies are needed on the subject so it acquires better visibility in various sectors of society, in a way that provides the teenage father means to find the necessary support and help in this new stage of their lives. Keywords: Teenagers.
