Abstract

This is the research proposal of Leonardo Nagami Coregliano, student at University of São Paulo, for the FAPESP program Bolsa Estágio de Pesquisa no Exterior (BEPE), to be conducted at University of Chicago, under the supervision of Professor Alexander Razborov. The general aim of this project is to study extremal problems in combinatorics, making use of Flag Algebras and focusing especially on permutation patterns. (AU)
