Abstract

This research will focus on an intervention proposal on continuing training of educational professional involving the theme of processes of resilience in families organized by non-conventional models. We aim to develop, implement and evaluate a proposal of continuing training education with thirty educators, among which principals, pedagogues and teachers working with children from the first to fifth year of elementary schools, at six school units to be selected, in the municipality of Presidente Prudente - SP. The intervention aims to question the reality of these families through the aesthetic experience provided by the cinema, through films that represent processes of resilience in non-conventional families. Initially we will use tools as pretest, encompassing structured questionnaire to ascertain their perceptions, values and social representations of family and an interview of the genogram in order to represent the families of the participants. After this, it will be offered a continuing training proposal for those who adhere to the intervention, whose content and dynamics will focus on the projection of films representing unconventional families, with indicators of family resilience and subsequent debate about them. At the end of the training, the instruments will be applied again at posttest, aiming to investigate possible changes in perceptions, values and representations of families and an open questionnaire in order to analyze the effectiveness of the training process adopted from the perspective of the research participants. The prediction of meetings for this project is 16 weeks. We hypothesized that the aesthetic experience provided by the cinema can promote the deconstruction of stereotypes about unconventional families and the (re)signification of the participants professional practices and develop a more sensitive and comprehensive attitudes in regard the plurality of families that permeate our society.
