Abstract

The object of this research is the regulation of employment in recent years in Brazil, by the capital and the institutions monitoring of labor law (Ministry of Employment (MTE), Public Ministry of Labour (MPT) and Justice of Labour (JT)). In the context of employment regulation, its main focus is the regulation of labor law. The research objective is to build indicators employment regulation that contribute to the assessment of the situation of so-called world of labor in Brazil. The main challenge is in the midst and as a foundation for the construction of indicators, problematize existing reviews the literature on the labor situation in the country which are based on more general information bases (as aggregated data from PNAD, RAIS, CAGED). For this, indicators from more general sources of information will be produced (both sources cited before, as the bases of MTE, MPT and JT), and indicators from specific studies covering certain topics, sectors and regions. The more general indicators and specific studies indicators will be crossed, compared, and problematized in order to establish and explain the limitations, contradictions, and the aspects that corroborate their findings. The sources of research information ranging from common information bases, such as surveys of IBGE, to primary sources obtained in the companies analyzed, with the support of servers institutions monitoring of labor law who volunteer reviewers of this investigation. This research falls within FAPESP thematic project: "Contradictions of Labor in Brazil now. Formalization, insecurity, outsourcing and regulation". (AU)
