Abstract

The proposed research aims at making a comparative study between public policies for farmers in Mexico and Brazil, analyzing from the formulation, execution and (positive and negative) impact on the lives of women who participate in these policies. Seeks to further understand what have been the contributions and reviews of institutional sectors, non-governmental organizations and social movements over those policies. To achieve the goals outlined is proposed as methodological procedures, in addition to literature review of topics that underlie the problem, collection and systematization of data from secondary sources and conducting thematic interviews with representatives of government agencies, NGOs and social movements in localities near the Xochimilco (Mexico.
