Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin on performance and quality of bone tissue and articular in broiler, from 1 to 10 days old, submitted to diets deficient in calcium and phosphorus

Abstract

The objective of this project is to evaluate the effect of administration of glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin, and the combination of both on broiler performance, features in blood, in bone densitometry, bone strength, bone in macroscopic and macroscopic evaluation of articular cartilage of tibiotarsos of broilers from 1 to 10 days of age, fed diets with different levels of calcium and phosphorus, aiming to be aware of caution in the early stage of disease affecting these animals in the final stage of creation. 1600 broilers of Ross 308 ® will be used one day old, raised from 1 to 10 days old. The birds will be distributed in 56 boxes of 20 males each in a completely randomized design and treatments will be developed in a factorial arrangement of 3 different diets and 3 levels of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, and the control treatment, a basal diet not deficient and also without supplementation, formulated according to the strain. Feed and water are provided ad libitum throughout the experimental period. Statistical analyzes of the data will be performed by analysis of variance method with the aid of the General Linear Model procedure of SAS ® (2002) and in case of statistical significance, the means are compared by Tukey test at 5% probability.
