Abstract

This research proposes the study of the first mother-baby relations in children with complaint and/or diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by understanding the first bonds established between mother and baby, aiming at understanding the importance of these bonds and their possible relations with the development of ADHD symptoms. The proposital and saturation sampling will be composed of 6 mothers of school-age children, between 6 and 9 years old, with complaints and/or diagnosis of ADHD, in Assis, SP. The closing of the sample occurs by repetition or saturation. The technique used for data collection will be semi-guided interviews, focusing on the mother-child relations and on the role of the mother in the care she offers to her child when facing behaviors such as sleep, hunger, weeping, excitement, among others, presented by the child in the first year of life and in the current context. The analysis of data will be conducted through content analysis, using psychoanalysis, based in studies of the first relation between the mother and the baby and your subjective configuration.
