Abstract

This research has how objective the scientific improvement of the pupil, more specifically in the area of control for a real physical process. The proposing of this project is an achievement of a digital control of a didactic plant using hardware and software open source.After the first step, the researcher will be inserted in the context of the sequence of operation of the process, in a way that he will be able to identify the firsts tools to do the automation and perform the simulations of the processes operation.The proposing of this project is the implementation of a model where two liquids, in a first moment separate, will be mixed in a container and removed for a final container. For this, will be used solenoid valves, level sensors, a mixer and a pump. All of them, sending signal to the hardware that is consisted for a microcontroller and drives. The hardware will be interfaced with a digital computer through a supervisory software, the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition - SCADA.Finishing the research, expected a huge apprenticeship for the researcher in the control area and a impulsion for new research in this area, ordering a way to optimize the process done.
